Privacy Policy

We try to collect as little personal information as we can, and to be straightforward about what we do with what we collect. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It covers both the mythicrm.com website and the Mythic Relationships mobile app.

01Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address. You can sign up with an email and password, with Google, or with Sign in with Apple. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email," we receive the private relay address Apple provides rather than your personal email. We don't ask for your name at signup; if you add profile details later in Settings, we store those too.
• Contacts you choose to sync. If you turn on contact sync, the app accesses your device's address book and stores the contacts you sync — names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, birthdays and other important dates, and any labels. Sync is two-way: changes you make in Mythic Relationships can be written back to your phone's address book. You control whether sync is on, and on iOS you can limit it to selected contacts.
• Content you create. The relationship details you record about the people you track — notes (typed or dictated), reminders, important dates, interests, favorites and favorite categories, gift ideas, conversation topics, pets, family and friend relationships, personality-test results you enter, and any groups or households you organize contacts into. You can also attach photos to a contact. Dictation is transcribed on your device by the operating system's keyboard speech recognition; the resulting text is saved like any other note. The app plays audio (read-aloud recaps) but does not record from your microphone.
• AI assistant data. When you use AI features — chat about a contact or your whole roster, call/text/email suggestions, note analysis, gift ideas, and spoken recaps — we send the relevant context (which can include contact names, your notes, important dates, relationships, and other details above) and your messages to our AI provider so it can generate a response. Your AI chat conversations are also saved to your account so you can return to them. See "Third parties" below.
• Subscription and purchase information. Mythic Relationships offers a free plan and a paid subscription. When you subscribe, your purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and by our subscription-management provider (RevenueCat). We receive your subscription status and entitlement tied to a random, app-specific account identifier — we never receive or store your full payment-card details, which are handled by the app store.
• Feedback and support requests. If you contact support from within the app or through the website, or submit a message via an in-app rating prompt, we collect what you send us — such as your email address, subject, and message — so we can respond and improve the app.
• Diagnostic and settings data. Your timezone, notification and sync settings, and internal usage logs (for example, AI request accounting used to enforce plan limits). We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
• Website and server data. Contact-form submissions (name, email, message) and standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security and to operate the site.

02How we use your information

• To provide the app: store and sync your contacts, notes, reminders, and photos.
• To send reminders. Day-to-day reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. We also send optional email reminders and a weekly digest to your account email; you can turn these off in Settings.
• To power the AI features you choose to use.
• To respond to contact-form messages and support requests.
• To secure the Service and prevent abuse.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

03Third parties and sub-processors

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Mythic Relationships:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, file storage (contact photos), and backend functions. Your account data, contacts, notes, and photos are stored here.
• OpenRouter (and through it Google and OpenAI) — process AI requests. When you use an AI feature, the relevant contact context and your message are sent to generate a response. These providers process your content under their own privacy and security terms; we don't use your content for advertising or to train our own models.
• ElevenLabs — generates spoken audio when you use read-aloud / text-to-speech.
• Google Places — provides address autocomplete when you type an address.
• Google and Apple — process sign-in if you choose those options.
• RevenueCat, and the Apple App Store / Google Play — manage paid subscriptions. The app store processes your payment; RevenueCat records your subscription and entitlement status against a random, app-specific account identifier and may collect basic device and purchase identifiers to do so. These providers do not receive your contacts, notes, or other relationship content.
• Resend — delivers reminder and weekly-digest emails to your account email. These emails can include contact names, dates, and reminder text so the message is useful to you.

These providers act on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

04Notifications and your address book

In-app reminders are local notifications generated on your device. We never delete or modify your phone's address book except through the sync feature you explicitly enable, and deleting your Mythic Relationships account does not remove contacts from your phone — that data is yours and stays on your device.

05Data retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This deletes your account and the personal data associated with it — contacts, notes, reminders, photos, groups and households, and AI chat history — from our systems. We may retain a limited set of records where we are required or permitted to for legal, security, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, such as prior support correspondence and minimal subscription and transaction records; these are kept only as long as needed and then deleted. Server logs are likewise kept for a limited period for security purposes. As noted above, account deletion does not touch your phone's local address book.

06Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@mythicrm.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to confirm that we do not sell your personal information (we do not). We'll honor those rights and respond within the timeframes those laws require.

07Children

Mythic Relationships is intended for adults. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. See our Terms of Service for eligibility. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

08International users

We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process and store your information in the United States and other countries. By using Mythic Relationships, you understand that your information will be processed in these locations, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where required we'll notify you in the app.
